Recipe Substitutions and Addition Ideas

  • Substitute pineapple juice, ginger ale or apple cider for the orange juice.
  • To reduce the added sugar in this recipe, use Sprite Zero or Diet Sprite.
  • To make this into an alcoholic holiday punch recipe, just add 12 ounces of vodka or rum for a little extra holiday spirit!

For the grenadine, you can buy it at the store or make your own homemade grenadine.

Recipe Presentation Ideas

A big part of the holiday spirit of this recipe is its festive look! I have a few ideas for how to present it, below:

  • Serve one at a time with an extra fun garnish like star anise or fresh cranberries!
  • Serve in a large punch bowl with an ice ring and ladle for serving. You can make an ice ring using a silicone Bundt pan, filled and frozen with water and slices of oranges. Or fill with punch or extra Sprite!
  • Put this non-alcoholic holiday punch in a beverage dispenser or large pitcher with citrus slices.
