Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl
This Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl is a tropical breakfast treat! Topped with pineapple, coconut and chia seeds.
I just got back from the beach. Other than obviously missing the warmer weather, I am really missing the tropical fruits! Each morning, I’d order either a smoothie or a fruit plate with my breakfast. I’m a huge fan of mangos, papayas and super fresh pineapple! When I got back to Kansas City, I made this Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl and it took me back to the beach.

I love smoothie bowls because I’m a super visual person and I love to “eat with my eyes.” Smoothie bowls are gorgeous, mostly due to the toppings! But, they are also a more leisurely way to enjoy a smoothie. We’re normally rushing around and drinking smoothies on the go around here.

This tropical smoothie bowl will transport you to the beach! Most smoothie recipes use bananas, and this one is no different. But the addition of pineapple and shredded coconut topping makes it taste just like a pina colada!

Top your smoothie bowl with shredded coconut, fresh pineapple, sliced bananas and chia seeds! Or add any fresh fruit you have. It will be delicious!
