This Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl is a tropical breakfast treat! Topped with pineapple, coconut and chia seeds.

I just got back from the beach. Other than obviously missing the warmer weather, I am really missing the tropical fruits! Each morning, I’d order either a smoothie or a fruit plate with my breakfast. I’m a huge fan of mangos, papayas and super fresh pineapple! When I got back to Kansas City, I made this Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl and it took me back to the beach.

Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl

I love smoothie bowls because I’m a super visual person and I love to “eat with my eyes.” Smoothie bowls are gorgeous, mostly due to the toppings! But, they are also a more leisurely way to enjoy a smoothie. We’re normally rushing around and drinking smoothies on the go around here.

Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl

Speaking of, I took a shortcut in making this bowl by using one of the new Smoothies by Hiland Dairy! These smoothies are pre-made and can be found in the yogurt section. I’ve tried the Pina Colada, Mango and Peach flavors so far and they’re AWESOME!

I’ve been using them as an easy breakfast on the way to the gym, and grabbing one out of the refrigerator for my son to drink in the car after school! These fruit and yogurt probiotic smoothies are the perfect snack, too! Hiland Dairy Smoothies

Hiland has developed these smoothies and new flavored cottage cheese cups! Both are as awesome snacks to help you stick to your New Year’s Resolutions!
