Grilled Cowboy Burgers are beef burgers topped with lettuce, cheddar cheese, bacon, French fried onions and barbecue sauce!

Did you grow up watching the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? I did! To this day, my husband and I still argue over who our favorite turtles are. I am TOTALLY all about Michelangelo because he’s the funny one, while Craig has always favored Raphael. We’ve passed our love of TMNT on to our son, who proudly rocks his t-shirts and brings his TMNT backpack to school each day!

This isn’t really relevant, except when I make these Cowboy Burgers, my son calls them “Cowabunga” Burgers, and I think that’s pretty awesome!

Grilled Cowboy Burgers have longtime been a favorite of mine! I tend to put barbecue sauce on hamburgers and hot dogs, and I think I do this because I was introduced to Cowboy Burgers! I grill a beef patty and top with lettuce, cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, bacon and crispy fried onions! The flavor combination is out of this world. One bite will make you say “Wow!”
