Have you noticed that edible cookie dough is everywhere now? I can’t complain, it’s sinfully delicious and saves me from rolling the dice while eating (gasp!) normal cookie dough with raw eggs in it. The other day, I saw edible cookie dough balls at the gas station and I grabbed them on a whim. Yes, I gladly paid $3.99 for about 10 cents worth of cookie dough. I was embarrassingly excited about them and pretty much inhaled them when i got in the car In retrospect, it wasn’t my finest or most frugal moment. But out of it came the inspiration for this AMAZING Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip!
After wolfing down the gas station cookie dough balls, I came home and started researching recipes for edible cookie dough. I wanted to make something that was a bit creamier so it would be dippable.
So, what to dip in this sweet dip? Well, whatever you want! I love to put an an assortment of options. Cookies, graham crackers and graham cracker sticks are excellent choices. Also, fruit is great! Strawberries in particular are my favorite fruit to pair with this creamy dip.
You can certainly customize this edible cookie dough dip to your liking. Mix it up with white chocolate chips, nuts, M&Ms, or chopped up candy pieces! If you love this sweet dip, I think you’ll also enjoy this Banana Cream Pie Dip!
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1.5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips (white or chocolate)
- Cream together butter, brown sugar, sugar, and salt. Beat until fluffy.
- Add milk and vanilla. Mix well.
- Blend in flour until mixture is uniform.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and chocolate chips.
