Lemon Lime Moscow Mules
This Lemon Lime Moscow Mule is crispy and refreshing, the perfect summer update to the classic Moscow Mule!
Three years ago, we moved to a new neighborhood. We had a newborn when we moved, so it’s taken us a while to get out there, but we’re finally starting to get involved and meet our neighbors. Our neighborhood is kinda famous for its parties. Even though the official social calendar is pretty full, people are always getting together for informal barbecues and happy hours! Recently, we were invited to a game night at a neighbors and it was BYOB. After the holidays, I was ready for something different than wine or beer, so I decided to bring my copper mugs and ingredients to make these Lemon Lime Moscow Mules! Moscow Mules are kind of my thing, and I’m always experimenting with different flavors.
Over the holidays, these Cranberry Moscow Mules went absolutely viral! I actually posted them over a year ago, but in the last few months they have been pinned almost 100,000 times! Needless to say, I’ve made that particular recipe for a LOT of gatherings over the holidays. Cranberry Moscow Mule overload, for sure! I’ve been ready to try a new recipe, and since I’m watching my calories right now, I decided to use the lemon lime flavor of Diet 7UP to try a Lemon Lime Moscow Mule. I still used ginger beer to make this easy cocktail but only about half of the typical amount recommended. This creative Moscow Mule recipe is SO good and refreshing, the lemon and lime go perfectly with the ginger flavor!
To make this Lemon Lime Moscow Mule, I found the cutest 7.5 ounce cans of 7UP at my local Hy-Vee®. I love these smaller size cans for two reasons. One, they’re cute. So sue me! And second, one of these smaller cans makes about two Lemon Lime Mules using my recipe. You can make a mule for you, and for a friend!
