What is Easter without a big, beautiful ham? Find your new favorite ham recipe for Easter in this post.
For many Americans, ham is synonymous with Easter! But that wasn’t always the case.
Around the world, most families enjoy lamb for Easter. In the 1940’s, according to Southern Living, that began to change. At the time, ham was more affordable to raise. Farmers would typically butcher their hogs in the fall and allow the hams to cure over the winter. The curing would be done by Easter, making ham the perfect main dish for the holiday.
I always serve ham recipes for Easter, but if you’re like me, you want to put your own spin on it! So, I put together a list of my very favorite Easter ham recipes to make your planning easier.
