Prepare green beans by snapping or cutting off the ends of the green beans. Discard the stems.
Prepare a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
Form green beans into bundles of 5-6 beans. Wrap one piece of bacon around each, secure with toothpick. Arrange each bundle of green beans on the prepared baking sheet or baking dish, seam side up.
Combine butter, brown sugar and garlic powder mixture in small microwave safe dish. Microwave on 50% power for one minute. Remove from microwave and stir to combine.
Pour melted butter and brown sugar glaze over the green bean bundles.
Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and green beans and cooked through.
Notes
You can also make the sauce in a small saucepan on your stove top, simmering over low heat for 3-4 minutes.Make Ahead: This is a favorite recipe of mine to make ahead! Just assemble the green bean bundles and cover with plastic wrap. Store in the fridge until ready to bake. Pour the brown sugar sauce over the top before baking.
