Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lightly grease the bottom of a 9x13'' pan with cooking spray.
Pour cherry pie filling into the bottom of the baking dish and smooth out with a spatula.
Then, layer the dry cake mix over the top of cherries. Sprinkle cake mix, do not stir!
Cut butter into tablespoon sized pats, 12 total. Lay the pats of butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
Bake in the preheated oven until the top is bubbly, 45-60 minutes.
