– Whole butternut squash – Extra virgin olive oil – Salt – Ground black pepper – Garlic powder – Salted butter

Preheat the air fryer to 375 F for 5 minutes. Wash the outside of the butternut squash skin with hot water

Use a knife to  slice the squash in half lengthwise. Scoop out and discard the seeds.

Spray your air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Place the squash cut side up in the air fryer basket.

Brush olive oil over the cut side of the squash halves, then sprinkle them with salt and pepper.

Air fry for 15 minutes, then place the butter on top of the squash. Air fry for an additional 10-15 minutes

Serve immediately with fresh thyme and additional butter if desired.
