1red bell pepper, seeded, diced and cut into long strips
1/2tspdried chili flakes
4green onions, diced
1/2cupunsalted peanuts
Instructions
Add the beeef ingredients; beef, sherry, soy sauce, baking soda and cornstarch to a mixing bowl. Toss well to coat and allow to rest for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the sauce ingredients; broth, 1/3 cup soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, sherry, hoising, sugar and cornstarch.
It's time to stir fry! In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp (half) of the cooking oil on medium-high heat.
Add beef to skillet and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until the outside of the meat begins to take on a light caramel color.
Remove beef from skillet and drain of excess juice.
Lightly wipe skillet with paper towel, then add the remaining cooking oil (2 tbsp). Heat on medium-high heat until the oil is hot.
Add garlic, ginger and bell pepper. Sautee for 2-3 minutes.
Add the pre-mixed sauce to the skillet, and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes, until it reduces slightly and begins to bubble.
Return beef to skillet and toss in the sauce to coat. Allow to re-heat for about 2 minute on medium heat.
Add green onions and unsalted peanuts. Serve warm.
