Have you ever made sloppy joes from scratch? If not, you're missing out! This old-fashioned recipe is easy to make with pantry ingredients and is ready in less than 20 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and onion. Sauté, crumbling the meat as you stir. I like to use a ground beef chopper (linked above), but that is totally optional!
Drain the beef, then return it to the skillet.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir to coat the ground beef crumbles.
Cover and allow to simmer for 5 minutes on low.
Serve warm.

CROCKPOT: You can absolutely make this in the crockpot!Brown the beef and onions on the stove, then transfer to the crock pot. Add the remaining ingredients and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
