I promise this is the easiest peach cobbler recipe you will ever make! This peach dump cake only uses a few simple ingredients, including canned peaches and cake mix. There are plenty of ingredient substitutions and additions you can make in this recipe! Check above this recipe card for a list.
Dump peaches, walnuts, and vanilla extract into a 9x13 inch baking dish and stir until completely mixed together.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top of the peaches layer.
Pour the half and half and melted butter over the top of the cake mix. Gently tilt the pan back and forth to help the liquids cover the top. If needed, grab a fork and gently stir some of the dry spots.
Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and starts to bubble.
Plate and serve warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
You can substitute a box of white cake mix or yellow cake mix for the spice cake mix. If you don't have half and half, substitute with more melted butter.
