Delicious and comforting mulled wine made in the crockpot! Perfect for holiday gatherings, serves at least 8 people.

Ingredients

bottles of dry red wine

cups
apple cider
▢

tablespoons
honey
▢

large navel oranges
,
thinly sliced
▢

whole cloves
▢
4
cinnamon sticks
▢

star anise
Instructions
Place all ingredients in crock pot, except for rosemary.
Heat on low for 1 hour minutes. Monitor to make sure it does not come to a simmer.
Switch to warm, or turn off the crock pot and cover to keep warm while serving. If adding rosemary, add now.
Serve with a rosemary sprig or cinnamon stick to garnish.
