– Olive oil – Fresh turkey legs  – Garlic powder – Apple cider – Turkey stock – Olive oil – Red onion – Red apple – Nutmeg – Cinnamon – Allspice – Fresh herbs

Preheat your oven to 350F. Pat the turkey legs dry, then season the turkey with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

In a Dutch oven add olive oil and heat. Add onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.

Increase the burner temperature. Add the turkey and sear the turkey for about 4 minutes per side.

Reduce burner temperature. Add apples to the Dutch oven, then sprinkle nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice over the apples.

Add cooked onions. Add apple cider, then add the seared turkey. Pour turkey stock around the turkey legs.

Cover the Dutch oven, then roast the turkey legs in the  oven for 1.5 hours. Remove the cover, and roast for the last 30 minutes.
