– 3 pounds pork shoulder steak – 24 ounces light beer – 8 ounces sweet barbecue sauce For the spice rub: – 3 tablespoon brown sugar – 2 tablespoon smoked paprika – 1 tablespoon onion powder – 1 tablespoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon chili powder – 1 teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon black pepper
Cover pork shoulder steak in light beer and marinate. Prepare a grill to low heat.
Mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder salt and pepper. Press the spice rub into the pork steaks.
Grill on a covered grill for 12 minutes per side, basting occasionally. Grill for an additional 5 minutes per side.
Serve warm with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
