Slow Cooker Pulled Beef is a savory, tender recipe for your french dip sandwiches or sliders, or to eat by itself! Includes an easy au jus dipping sauce recipe.
– 3 pounds of whole beef chuck roast – ½ tablespoon of salt – 1 ½ teaspoons of black pepper – 2 teaspoons of oregano – 3 tablespoons of olive oil – 2 small yellow onions, chopped – 4 cloves of garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon dried time
Season beef with salt, pepper, & oregano. Warm oil over medium heat on a pan. Sear beef on both sides until a brown sear color occurs, about 4 mins per side.
Set aside beef. Into same pan, saute onions & garlic. Place onions, beef & other ingredients into slow cooker. Close and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
Once beef is cooked, remove beef and set to the side. Drain sauce into a large bowl. The juice left over is the au jus.
Shred beef and return to the slow cooker with some of the au jus to keep moist. Serve as sandwiches or by itself
