Easy Maple Walnut Pie

Make this Easy Maple Walnut Pie this fall! This pie is ready in less than an hour.

INGREDIENTS

– 1 9-inch Pie Shell – 3.5 cups walnuts, – 3 eggs – 2 cups maple syrup – 1 tablespoon molasses – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 3 tablespoon butter – 3 tablespoon flour – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon pumpkin spice

1. PREP PIE CRUST

Preheat oven to 375F. Spread pie crust across deep dish pie pan. Crimp the edges of the crust.

2. ADD WALNUTS

Add  walnuts to the top of the crust. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, maple syrup, molasses, and vanilla extract. Whip briskly.

3. PREP TO BAKE

Add butter, flour, salt and pumpkin pie spice. Stir to combine. Pour pie filling over walnuts in pie dish. Bake for 20 minutes.

4. BAKE PIE

Remove from oven, then cover crust with pie crust shield. Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Return pie to oven and bake for a final 5-10 minute

5. SERVE

Allow pie to completely cool before slicing, 1-2 hours.
