This Brownie Batter Hummus recipe is a black bean hummus! It's a simple recipe that is both a healthy dessert AND a sweet treat to satisfy your sweet tooth!
– 1 can black beans, drained – ¼ cup tahini – 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder – ⅓ cup maple syrup – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – ½ cup mini chocolate chips – Optional topping: a pinch of sea salt
Add the drained black beans, tahini, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the bowl of a food processor or high-speed blender.
Blend or pulse until the ingredients are well-combined and the mixture is smooth. Stir in the mini chocolate chips and top with sea salt.
Allow to chill for 1 hour. Serve with graham crackers, animal crackers, cookies, or fresh fruit.
