– Frozen wontons – Korean chili flakes  – Garlic cloves – Fresh ginger – Avocado oil – Soy sauce – Rice vinegar – Sesame oil – Granulated sugar – Sesame seeds

Boil wontons for 2 minutes. Drain in a colander. Set aside. Next, make the chili oil sauce.

In a heat-safe bowl, add the chili flakes, the white part of the green onions, minced garlic cloves and ginger. Set aside.

In a saucepan, add the avocado oil. Heat until it begins to gently bubble.

Pour the hot oil over the seasonings in the heat-safe bowl. Stir with a wire whisk.

Next, add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper. Stir until all sugar has dissolved.

Add the wontons to the bowl. Toss until the wontons are coated in the chile oil. Transfer to a serving bowl.
