This Raspberry Moscow Mule is a fun twist on the classic cocktail! Easy to make and elegant for guests.

‘Tis the season for amazing cocktails! When I’m hosting over the holiday season, I typically have beer, wine, and one or two signature cocktails available for my guests. The holidays aren’t the time to skimp or play it safe, you want something that will impress! This Raspberry Moscow Mule is just that cocktail.

It’s slightly sweet and reflects the colors of the season, making it a beautiful choice for a holiday gathering. Serve it in a copper mug, garnished with fresh raspberries, and something green to garnish!

I chose Absolut Elyx for this Raspberry Moscow Mule because of its incredible high quality. The entire production of this vodka takes place on one single estate in southern Sweden using winter wheat, and is held in a vintage copper still from 1921.

The use of the hand operated copper still requires traditional skills and techniques only known by a few people, making this an exclusive, hand-crafted vodka. I appreciate vodkas that have very smooth finishes, and am willing to pay a bit extra to ensure that I serve my guests a smooth variety. Plus, mules like this Raspberry Moscow Mules are famous for their copper mugs, so it’s only natural to use a vodka made in a copper still!

I absolutely love the increased use of copper in producing this vodka, and in barware! Isn’t the shot measure in these photographs gorgeous?
